The purpose of this chapter is to protect the public health, safety and welfare of
Copperas Cove citizens by regulating the installation, maintenance, operation and
repair of irrigation systems within the corporate limits of the city as well as the
city's extraterritorial jurisdiction to conserve water, avoid wasteful use, and improve
the overall quality of life for the citizens of Copperas Cove. The provisions in this
chapter are cumulative of all city ordinances. In the event of a conflict, the more
stringent provision shall apply.
