Pursuant to the City of Copperas Cove's governing City Charter, all contracts, purchases
and other procurements shall comply with the statutory competitive procurement process
and all other relevant laws as the same may be applicable. Further, any city contract
requiring an expenditure by, or imposing an obligation or liability on the city shall
be made in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution and statutes of the
State of Texas, as the same may be applicable to such contract. To ensure compliance
with the foregoing, the purchasing practices of the city shall be governed by the
city's purchasing policy, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set
out in full for all purposes as Exhibit A, and all other applicable local, state and
federal laws.
The city's current purchasing policy shall be kept on file with the director of finance's
office and the city secretary's office.
